The disc was released in the year of the 60-th anniversary of the Great Victory over the nazi Germany in 1945. It contains both folk and popular war-time patriotic songs by Russian composers.
We are happy to present a new DVD-recorded concert of Kuban Cossack Chorus on the main venue of the country - the Kremlin State Palace on 11th April 2003. The jubilee program devoted to the 65-th anniversary of maestro Victor Zakharchenko, in which took part the famous Russian actor Alexey Petrenko and film director Nikita Mikhalkov, got the full house enthusiastically applauding to the true folk art. The spectacular show comprising both folk and Zakharchenko's songs will surely bring unforgettable pleasure to all those who appreciate the living folk song, true artistic skill and high professionalism.
